Motion Capture - Qualisys

A Miqus hybrid by Qualisys is used, this allows for both marker and marker-less motion capture. Our eight cameras are affixed to a stationary truss for repeatability. This system allows for high quality motion capture data to be gathered and analyzed.

Virtual Reality Headset - Meta Quest Pro

We utilize meta quest pro immersive virtual reality headsets. We use these headsets for activities like eye tracking, virtual reality training and a modified sensory organization test.

Force Plate: Strideway

We use a 5 panel strideway tekscan as our force plate. We use this tool to collect center of pressure and force data. We additionally use this piece of equipment with clinical assessments like timed up and go.

EMG and IMU: Delsys

Trigno avanti sensor from Delsys provides EMG and IMU data. These wireless sensors are commonly used to record muscle reaction time and test motor unit recruitment.

The Y Balance

This clinical assessment test a patient’s dynamic balance and functional symmetry. This test has been used historically to measure risk of injury and return to sport readiness. We use this test to measure and quantify how our participants balance for our research studies.
